The Downtown Arts Centre Studio is on the first floor of the arts centre at Rebecca and Hughson Street North. The Hamilton Fringe used this as a venue in 2007 and 2008. The stage is on the floor with the audience on seating risers. Seating capacity for the Fringe is 75 seats. The Theatre Aquarius Studio theatre is located on King William between Walnut and Ferguson. This venue is set up as a corner stage with the audience on two sides. Seating capacity is 70 seats.

Description:

For the first time the Hamilton Fringe is using one of the best venues in the city in an entirely new way.. Both the audience and the performers will be occupying the mainstage of the Dofasco Centre For the Arts. Patrons will be able to see a part of the building normally reserved for actors and stage technicians.

The Theatre Aquarius "backstage" is located on King William between Walnut and Ferguson. This venue is set up as an end stage with the audience on three sides. Seating capacity is 75 seats.
