The story of a daughter, Amy, on her journey in uncovering her family’s history in order to understand her father, Tuan. Tuan's journey unfolds as we follow him in his escape as a boat person from Communist Vietnam after the Fall of Saigon. However, during this time, he is overtaken by his demons. Will Tuan be able to control his demons or will it tear his family apart? Will Amy be able to understand her father’s past so that they can work towards a brighter future?
