What makes a mother? For Emma, a growingly independent young teenager, her mother, Dianne, is someone she just does not understand. Nor does her mother understand her. Raised in a single-parent home, Emma is ready to discover the ways of the world, and ready to make her own decisions without the interference or criticism of her mother. But when Emma lands herself in trouble, they are both forced to rely on the other, push past their estranged relationship and insecurity, and hopefully make the best of it. It is a comedic and touching one-woman show containing some mature content.
