Info on last year's Festival  - July 14-24 2011:

Thanks to everyone who worked so tirelessly to ensure that the 2011 Hamilton Fringe was our best attended festival ever!  More then $36,000 was returned to the artists, and this year's festival had more fringe artists from further away then ever!

IMPORTANT THINGS TO REMEMBER WHEN "FRINGING"

  1. All Fringe shows start on time. Please be sure to set your watch to CBC time.
  2. Latecomers will not be admitted to any performance. Even those patrons with tickets will not be admitted once a performance has started. No exceptions. Parking is limited, so please make sure you give yourself ample time when traveling to the venue. Patrons who have bought online advance tickets should pick them up at the venue box office a minimum of 90 minutes before a performance.
  3. General admission seating for all performances.
  4. All sales are final. There are no refunds or exchanges. 100% of the ticket price goes directly to the performers; therefore there can be no refunds once a ticket is purchased.
  5. There is no re-admittance if you leave the venue during the performance.
  6. The Hamilton Fringe requires all patrons and Fringe participants to purchase a Fringe Backer Button (a one-time $4.00 cost) in order to gain admission to the venue. This rule applies to everyone. Anyone without a button may be removed from the premises at the Festivals’ sole discretion. Be careful with it - if you lose the button – you have to buy another one!
  7. There are no exceptions to any of these rules. Since the festival is run almost entirely by volunteers, the poor person that you are shouting at can’t change the situation in any way.
